Vision & Values

BIBLE

We acknowledge the authority of God’s holy Word, the Bible and prioritise prayer.

WELCOME

We welcome both regular, irregular and prospective members together with visitors to all church services and events.

Everyone is welcome.

YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIES

A major part of our mission must be to introduce and re-introduce Jesus and his teaching to young people and we should continue to be focused on spreading the Word and encouraging them to commit to their own personal relationship with Jesus as Lord and Saviour.  We will retain and encourage our Youth Worker in her work as chaplain in our school as well as with our Church and beyond the boundaries of our parish.

DIVERSITY

We are a diverse but unified community and welcome people of all backgrounds, ages, orientations and origins.  We seek to avoid discrimination of any sort against any human being and to treat all with respect and dignity.

WORSHIP

We are a worshipping community, where Father, Son and Holy Spirit are the focus of our worship.

discipleship

We seek to encourage disciples to study the Bible and be open to the Holy Spirit.

OUR PARISH

The parish is the bedrock of our work – we will continue to be fully integrated within our parish and village community to participate, to reach out to them and serve them.

OUTWARD LOOKING

We welcome worshippers from within and outside our parish and seek to maintain links internationally. For instance with the Diocese of Kondoa in Central Tanzania, our link church in Estonia as well as former parishioners currently working in Jaffa in Israel with CMS. We also seek to uphold the persecuted church through prayer and practical support.
